Sustainable development from the perspective of the public sector

The thesis focuses on the evaluation of sustainable urban development. The theoretical part is processed as literature research, from which important indicators for the design of the methodology of sustainable development assessment of the city are derived. The research presents basic concepts related to the public sector, local government, sustainable development, and public investments. The core part of the thesis is the design a methodology to help local governments to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the city's sustainability. Additionally, it can serve as a basis for investment decision-making. This methodology is based on a multi-criteria analysis of selected key indicators that assess the functionality and sustainability of cities. The aim of this work is to offer cities a practical tool that will not only help with the assessment of the situation, but will also contribute to improving the sustainability of urban areas as centers and producers of significant economic, ecological, and social processes.

Cooperation of the public and private sector in construction engineering

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis cooperation between the public and private sector in construction engineering. The introductory part contain the main theoretical concepts from the domain public and private sectors, managements and teamwork, construction engineering and personal management. Furthermore, it defines theoretical knowledge of the labour market and the education system SR and their benefit for the construction engineering. In the empirical part, is thesis focused on the analysis cooperation each sectors construction industry based on interviews and using a questionnaire survey. The final part thesis summarize particular detection and dedicated to proposal for a recommendation to improve cooperation between the public and private sectors in construction engineering.

In this diploma thesis is described problematic of regional competitiveness issue. In the theoretical part is defined region as the main actor of regional development and its funding possibilities. In the practical part is described Olomouc region supplemented by SWOT analysis. Competitiveness of the region is achieved by statistical variables from different sectors.

The bachelor´s thesis is concerned with evaluation of the economy of a non profit making organization Sagapo. The first part summarizes theoretical knowledge which is the basis for the analytical part. This part contains basic information about selected organization, financial analysis and evaluation of the current situation. The last part gives suggestions and recommendations which would lead to an improvement of economy of the organization.

This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the economic activities of the state-funded institution, from the cultural area, namely the theatre called Horácké divadlo Jihlava. The work is divided into three parts. The first part describes a theoretical knowledge, the second one acquaints with the current organization’s situation. At the end, the work incorporates recommendations for a cost optimization and a financial situation improvement compiled on the basis of the previous analysis of the public sector organization.

Bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the public economic investment in urban apartments in České Budějovice. The first half of the Bachelor's thesis is focused on the explanation of the concept of public investment, describes the sources of funding and the methods by which we can evaluate public investment. The practical part is already focused on the reconstruction of the distribution of one housing unit in two. The work is described in the specific investment project, and designed the cash flows. Cooperation of public and private sphere in construction sector

The diploma thesis deals how public sector co-opete with private one. The are explain the types of cooperation and the reasons why they are used or not. In the beginning are defined the main terms used later in this thesis, those definitions are based on the datas from the books. The second part, practical part, is focused on evaluation of the respondents’s answers, which have been gotten from questionnaire. There are used also my personal opinions and experience in the practical part. In the final part there is decribed current cooperation those sectors and there are given the recommendations for improving their relationships.
